Zoho workshop session - Driving Business Growth Through CX Experience
In a short period of time, COVID-19 has overwhelmed lives and livelihoods around the globe. For vulnerable individuals and the customer teams that serve them, it has also forced a rethinking of what customer care means.
Suddenly, examinations of customer journeys and satisfaction metrics to inform what customers want has given way to an acute urgency to address what they need.
Andrew, in this session, will share how care, creative thinking, and new tools can address customers’ acute needs today and forge stronger ties in the post-COVID-19 era.
Panel Discussion: Building Infrastructure for Digital Resilience to Thrive in the New Normal
In 2020 the world faced an unprecedented crisis, which drove digital transformation and the development of the digital economy as hot topics. Now, well into 2021, the world is familiarizing itself with a “new normal,” driven by online, automated, and intelligent trends and sparking a fast track to build digital competitiveness and resilience.
No doubt, countries with well-developed ICT infrastructure are better positioned to embrace the new normal and leverage their digital foothold to promote economic recovery and a more resilient digital future.
Unique conditions in each African country means that to be successful in each, a proper model for developing infrastructure & talent resources matching the local situation needs to be established. Panellists are looking at the universal truth: “our future is digital, and embracing it better positions everyone for success in this new frontier”.
Session 3: Blockchain Technology: A tool to accelerate African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agenda
The landmark African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement will be the largest free trade area in the world measured by the number of participating countries. It connects 1.3 billion people across 55 countries with a combined gross domestic product (GDP) valued at US$3.4 trillion. The AfCFTA could, among its many other objectives, potentially uplift 30 million people out of extreme poverty
However, there are many challenges to implementing the AfCFTA, which include trade inefficiencies in accessing and processing trade support documentation, accessing trade information and seamlessly accessing trade finance between the various African countries.
Blockchain, with its secure distributed ledger, has the potential to enhance Intra Africa trade by alleviating the above-mentioned bottlenecks. Dr Oluseyi Akindeinde of Digital Encode in this presentation will tell us more.
FireSide Chat: Security Perspectives to Emerging and Future Technologies
The world has become far more digitally connected and at the same time digitally vulnerable – than ever. While organizations increasingly embraced remote work culture, cybercriminals undoubtedly exploited digital vulnerabilities to carry out potential cyberattacks.
In order to prevent these cyberattacks, the Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and their teams must revise and upgrade their cybersecurity practices, plans, and strategies on par with the latest security trends.
